The No-No Room

Charlie has been working very hard on his letters this summer. We bought him one of these dry erase boards to practice on and he loves it. He was playing with it the other day and asked me for some tape. I obliged, and he hung the "poster" on his bedroom door. Later I walked into his room and he screamed "NO! Get out! Read the sign! It is a No No sign for this room!" Well, excuuuuse me! I looked carefully at the sign and he really did right the word NO with an exclamation point. He claims he learned it from a cartoon he watched. Good for him, that takes his writing word count to-4or5!

Parades and fun

In keeping with tradition, we had our OWN parade on the 4th of July. We decorated our own "floats", had poppers, and a huge silly string fight. Good times.

Deal of the day

Wow. So I read online about this great sale of diapers at Walgreens until 7/5. I decided to try it. It was a lot of "buy this many, use this paper, do this..." I went to the store and they were out of what I needed. I asked a manager for some assistance, and to make a long story short, I got 120 premium diapers for $14.00! How can you possibly beat that??! For those of you that are parents you sometimes pay $14 for say, 30 diapers NOT 120! Go Walgreens. (or as Charlie would say "go wallergreens")
